1. What is the purpose of EconJourney?
We often learn through the use of story and telling a good narrative is often the key to success. With EconJourney, you will construct a narrative and learn some economics in the process.
2. How does the site work?
You need to get a password from your course instructor and then create an account. Once you have an account, you need to pick a theme based on the problem of scarcity, develop a character and then undertake a journey consisting of 12 stages. In each stage you will learn some economics concepts and use them to develop your story. At the end of every four stages you will combine your writing into a chapter and post it in the forum. At the end you will have a complete story.
3. What do I need to do in order to get started?
Get a password from your instructor and create an account.
4. Will the writing in the forms be there the next time I log in?
Yes, you are assigned a unique ID number and all of your writing is stored in a database. You will be able to access it as you go along and your instructor can access it in order to review your progress and assign a grade.
5. I am not good at writing a story. How can I get some help?

6. What if I don’t correctly answer all of the questions in the challenge?
You will have as many chances as you need in order to identify the correct answer. You will not be able to move on until you have all of the correct answers.
7. How do I share my story for the peer review?
You will bring your story to class (printed or accessed from your laptop) in order to switch with a partner and complete the Peer Review worksheet.
8. How will I get graded?
That is up to your instructor and should be identified in the course syllabus.
